My journey into the world of teaching began in 2019 after completing my teacher training. Soon after, my foray into youth work kicked off in the summer of '22. The catalyst for my shift towards youth work was a deep-seated desire to dedicate more of my time and energy to improving the lives of LGBT+ young people. Balancing teaching and youth work has been a fulfilling endeavor, allowing me to pursue my passion for education while advocating for this marginalised community.

Teaching and Mentorship: A Personal Perspective

My fascination with the transformative power of education was sparked during my time as a learning support teaching assistant for a young girl with cerebral palsy in a London special school. It was during this experience that I realised my calling—to be the person at the front of the classroom, sharing knowledge and shaping young minds.
